Marill Pokemon Amigurumi by yarnmon Marill Pokemon Amigurumi by yarnmon
#183 Marill

Water Type

So excited about this one!! I\'ve been wanting to make Marill and all his evolutions forever and I finally got the yarn to do it. This one is actually my prototype, I want to improve his design and adjust his face proportions next time, as well as do a better job on his balance (his tail is too heavy and he falls over backwards unless there is something to prop him up >_<)

But he\'s still super cute!!!

Hm, maybe try using a smaller hook size than what patterns suggest? You might have a looser-than-average tension, which tends to create bigger stitches. Tension is different for everyone and it can make a huge difference when you crochet! I had a friend who crocheted REALLY tightly and I had to go up two hook sizes to match her stitches!! I hope that helps :)

Oh I see! I just checked out your gallery, you do really nice work! I love the GIRs! It just looks like you have a lot more stitches per doll :]
